Google Penguin Spam Report Form Helps Fight Spam in Search Results

Google has launched a Penguin Spam Report Form aimed to help users report spam sites that are still ranking after the latest Penguin webspam algorithm, already known as Penguin 2.0. The form was announced by the head of the webspam team at Google, Matt Cutts, on Twitter.

Penguin 2.0, the next generation of the Penguin webspam algorithm, rolled out May 22, 2013, affecting, according to Matt Cutts, about 2.3% of English-US queries, and more for queries in other languages:

The scope of Penguin varies by language, e.g. languages with more webspam will see more impact.

Penguin 2.0 is different from its previous versions. It is not just a data refresh, but an updated algorithm. The Google team also announced other significant changes for the next months, in terms of SEO:
